Many times the above scripture is referenced in matrimony. In this case, I want to use it to reference a bond between a family. This week I got to experience the reason why I do what I do. I got to see a family of four join together with three beautiful orphan girls who they are adopting, two of which I am the primary caregiver for
After much time apart, God has joined them together and has proclaimed victory over the death that once broke up these girls' family. There is still some red tape to jump through for this growing family, but in Jesus' name, let no man tear them apart.
Now their needs will be met by a mother and a father, the way God intended it to be, not an institution.
