He Already Won

“On a hill far away
Stood an old rugged cross…
Where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinner was slain”

We have to remember Jesus already won. He died. Laid in a tomb for 3 days. BUT he rose again. He won. He’s coming back. He’s restoring and renewing. He’s the champion.

I keep thinking…there is just so much to pray for, so much to ask for, so much mess that needs cleaning. Sometimes I forget that he already won. He’s working with us to restore what was taken. Although we can feel burdened, we can give it to him by remembering he already has the victory.

When my girls hurt me with their behavior, and then slip lots of “I’m sorry” love letters under my door…I remember Jesus already won.
Notes under my door...

When orphan boys who have lost at almost everything finally win a soccer game, I remember Jesus already won.

When orphans thank God for a great day full of blessings in prayer…I remember Jesus already won.

Thankful for the first time they get to eat at a Pizza buffet for their birthday!
When there is reconnection at the end of the night with tears and prayers…I remember Jesus already won.

When siblings make a “pacto de hermanos” to help each other and be united…I remember Jesus already won.

Pacto de Hermanos
When friends encourage me to keep going and buy me coffee…I remember Jesus already won.

When I see believers all around me running the same good race…I remember Jesus already won.

In the messinesss of this world and the lives that surround us, don’t forget….yeah, he won.
